For sale, Eastwood Baritone guitar, excellent condition, Sunburst finished copy of a Mosrite guitar, which was popularized by the Ventures, a surf group in the 60's. This guitar is very well made, it plays like butter, and is built for the long-haul. I upgraded it with American CTS pots, Switchcraft jack, and a premium custom-wound set of P90s. I also made a much nicer looking pickguard (mint green), as well as added some nice laboratory oversize knobs. It is currently setup with Pyramid Pure Nickel strings, solid nickel are the only way to go with P90's to my ears. This guitar can be tuned in a number of different ways, the internet is full of information on Baritone Guitar Tunings. (pickuptheguitar.com offers an indepth baritone tuning guide) The norm baritone tuning is a B standard,(3 down from standard guitar tuning), however i really like the A standard (5down). There are also many other low open tunings as well that are an adventure. This is basically a 6 string bass guitar, only i was amazed at how easy it is to play......far easier than some standard electrics This is a very inspiring guitar to work with.....it opens doors.
It didn't come with a case when purchased, however cases are available online at Eastwood, or many other music stores. This guitar has never left my recording studio. I am including a new set of pure nickel strings with it......however you may never need to replace the Pyramids, they last for years. A very cool sounding, easy playing guitar.
