I’m in the early stages of learning taxidermy and am looking for recently deceased or frozen animals to practice and learn the trade with. If you have any animals that you won’t be using for food and would be willing to pass along, I would be grateful.

Examples include goats, calves, raccoons, opossums, chickens, rabbits, and similar animals. Anything really as I’m just beginning and need practice with skinning and all the prep work. If you are taking a deer to the butcher and don’t plan to get it mounted and would be willing to do a rough cape out with the head still attached I’d be very interested in that as well. I can pick up within approximately 30 minutes of Fremont, MI.
