Four Early 1900s Picture Postcard Scenes of Muskegon, MI - $45 (Grass Lake)

They can be dated somewhere between 1904-1911, when the Rotograph Company of New York and Raphael, tuck, and Sons of London published real photo postcards.
The first photo is of Lake Harbor, taken by Kuizenga and Whipple, Muskegon photographers. The postcard was printed in Germany.
Muskegon’s Ashley Park is shown in the second photo.
Western Avenue in Muskegon is the scene shown in the third photo/postcard. Muskegon’s famous Occidental Hotel is on the right.
The fourth one might be my favorite. It’s a street scene and the pennant on the back of the rear car gives it away, with the Muskegon pennant. The photo can also be dated, since the front car has a 1911 Michigan license plate. Another neat feature of this photo is the restaurant placard advertising what was on the menu that day, including pork steak and “oysters any style.”
As you can see, these postcards were never used and in really good shape.
